Batela has joined The Gravity Wave organization on an inaugural mission along the Basque coast and other regions of the Cantabrian Sea to clean plastic waste and fishing nets from the sea.The bond that binds Batela to the marine environment and the growing concern arising from the escalating pollution of seawaters has inspired us to chart this course. This initiative aims to eliminate 200,000 plastic bags from the Cantabrian Sea.At Batela, we are acutely attuned to the state of our oceans and the pervasive pollution they face. Consequently, we proudly stand as the first apparel and home decor company to collaborate with Gravity Wave to purify and sustain our seas. Through proactive measures such as this, we aspire to make meaningful contributions toward ameliorating the environmental conditions and preserving marine ecosystems.
